Computer-supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) is a mandatory winter semester online course. While designed for 3rd semester students, most students have taken this course in their first semester in the past. The course takes place from October to December only. The course has a rolling start, i.e. you can enter the course before the semester begins and commence with an individual phase of familiarize yourself with the learning material. To do so sign up here (in addition to signing up in LSF!): https://sites.google.com/edu.oulu.fi/cscl2020
The online course is taught in partnership with other Universities such as the Unitversity of Oulu, Finland, University of Turku, Finland, and the Open University of the Netherlands. In the second phase, you will build small groups across these sites that dive deeper into one of the CSCL topics featured in this course, such as scripts for or co-regulation in CSCL. Please note, we have an Erasmus exchange program with one of the partners here, namely the Learning & Educational Technology Research Unit (LET) of the University of Oulu.
The course is online, there will be a kick-off (on 3rd of November, 16-18 hrs.) MSTeams link: CSCL Kick-Off and a debriefing session (at a to-be-determined time). |
