The Educational Technology department from Saarland University has the pleasure to invite the students from the Edutech Master and from the Teaching Department to our workshop about Computational Thinking. This workshop is part of the EU co-financed PIAF project for developing teaching materials on the topic of Computational Thinking. Through a series of presentations and group activities, learn about Computational Thinking as well as the benefits and challenges of incorporating lesson plans the cover computational thinking competencies into the classroom.
The workshop will last 3 sessions and will be held fully online and livestreamed from our Edutech department. Depending on the conditions, we will allow on-site presence. For the group work, expect to collaborate with our students from the Edutech Master who have different backgrounds such as Computer Science, Education, Psychology, and Linguistics. The workshop will be held in English.
