The ITT seminars will be highly practical approaches to language learning and teaching strategies, their underlying structures and principles. Active participation will be expected of you throughout the semester.
The Sandwich course will contain the Schulpraktikum as an integral part – providing preparation during the term and feedback after the Schulpraktikum.
The overall focus this term will be on learner-centredness as well as rapport and meaningfulness
in the English language classroom.
There will be suitable assignments for those aiming at the respective certificates.

Preparing you for the FD Schulpraktikum by exploring some of the key
aspects and features within the EFL teaching /learning process.

Assessing the FD Schulpraktikum – with you ‘wearing your two hats’ –

!!! REGISTRATION for the SANDWICH COURSE – NEW!!! will now be done during the time set
by the department ( FR 4.3 ) BUT at the latest by the end of the first week of term.
! late registrations cannot be accepted ! Clix registrations required.
Registration with ZfL –www.uni-saarland.de/zflneeds to be done separately for the Praktikum – but is only possible when registered for the Sandwich Course !!!
This seminar is not suitable for Modul 10- FD-II-LA !
