You are looking for the extra ‘kick’, for more genuine use of spoken language, for a yet more active part in the learning / teaching process?
Play reading (rehearsed reading) can bring a lot more into the English classroom than ‘just’ modern plays – it can be exciting, challenging language work and at the same time provide using and assessing oral communication based on a playtext – finding out how the written word resonates in the spoken word – while also practising close reading and listening.
The play will be one staged in London between spring last year and spring this year – guaranteeing a focus on present day spoken language in a real life context. Interested? Then why not try it?
Presence in the first session is required.
Maximum number of participants – 16. |
