Today’s turbulent markets and rapidly changing technologies create a new necessity for applying user-centered approaches to ensure an endeavors financial success. Together with Centigrade GmbH, one of the leading full-service User Experience (UX) agencies in Germany, participants will learn how to utilize proven UX strategies and processes to identify and then fulfill existing or upcoming user needs.
This is done in the light of ubiquitous computing devices with special emphasis on the Internet of Things (IoT). Throughout the seminar participants will get the opportunity to work on their very own ubiquitous device, while going through the entire UX process from ideation, to concept, to implementation.
Participants will therefore have their individual take on smart, connected lamp, which will grant a new and unexpected perspective on existing light sources by featuring unconventional input and output media.
As the number of participants is restricted, interested students may submit a short letter of motivation explaining the origin of their personal interest in topics such as IoT, ubiquitous computing devices and UX.
